It’s almost time for summer holidays, and as retailers bring out new lines of gorgeous summer and beach wear, it’s that time of year where we hit the shops to get all our holiday essentials ready. If you are planning to go on a holiday to somewhere hot and sunny this year, you’re probably getting ready to go out and shop for all the lovely things you’re planning to wear during your trip. Just in case you forget, we’ve put together this handy packing list of everything that you’ll need to make sure you get to complete your suitcase.
Dresses are a staple of summer and there are many different places where you can get gorgeous summer dresses online. When it comes to picking dresses for your summer holiday, you are spoilt for choice as there is such a huge range of different dresses that you can choose from. Maxi dresses are a popular holiday choice as they are light and floaty as well as great for covering your legs if you have sunburn. Another popular choice is the tea dress, which is perfect if you’re hoping to travel light as you can wear it as casual wear or for going out.
No summer holiday suitcase would be complete without a great range of roxyswimwear! Summer holidays are the best times for relaxing by the pool or on the beach, getting a tan and swimming in the sea. For this, you’ll need to make sure that you have enough swimwear to last you through the holiday. This season, the biggest trends in swimwear include tassled bikinis, cut-out designs and stunning floral prints. High-waist bikini bottoms are also a big hit right now, so there’s definitely plenty of different trends to choose from to make sure that you find something which you like.
When holiday shopping, there are so many gorgeous things to choose from. It’s not usual for girls to go shopping for their next summer trip only to find that they can’t fit everything that they have bought into their case! To make sure that you don’t have any tough choices to make when packing, it’s a good idea to stick to the basics. The best thing about doing this is that you can choose items of clothing which you can mix and match to make different outfits. For example, plain-coloured shorts are a great item to pack in your case as they can be paired with a whole range of different tops to make a different outfit, meaning that you only really need to take one or two pairs of shorts. Vest tops are of course a holiday essential, and the best thing about them is that they’re small and lightweight, meaning that you can fit plenty into your case.
Don’t forget to make sure that you’re fully protected from the sun on your summer holiday. The last thing that you want is for painful sunburn to ruin your holiday, so make sure that you take sun cream with a strong factor. If you want a good tan, you can even get protective sun oil which will stop your skin from burning but make sure that you go nice and brown. Don’t forget to protect your eyes, too – a sun hat and sunglasses are essential.
